Maria Neto (Mirandela, Portugal, 1986).
Arquitecta pela Universidade da Beira Interior, realizou o seu primeiro estágio internacional (IAESTE) no Brasil em 2008. Completou o curso com bolsas de mérito no 1º e 2º ciclos em 2007 e 2009, após um ano de Erasmus na ETSAG-UAH, em Madrid. Ainda em 2009 foi para Budapeste trabalhar como arquitecta estagiária numa parceria entre a Consulgal Hungaria e Hochtief, no projecto de remodelação e ampliação do aeroporto de Budapeste. No final de 2010 mudou-se para o Porto onde iniciou o ano curricular de Doutoramento em Arquitectura pela FAUP. Em 2012 e 2013 integrou uma bolsa de investigação como bolseira FCT e realizou uma pós-graduação em Cooperação Internacional, na ETSAM-UPM. Ainda em 2013 foi-lhe concedida a patente pelo INPI do projecto Sustainable and inflated emergency shelter, iniciado em Mestrado. Desde Outubro de 2013 que é bolseira de investigação no CCRE-FAUP, onde integra o projecto editorial SCOPIO desempenhando as funções de Assistente Editorial. Com vários prémios e artigos publicados, actualmente colabora, voluntariamente, com Organizações não Governamentais em países em desenvolvimento, destacando-se o projecto em 2013 do Plano de Estrutura Urbano (PEU), para o Município de Mueda em Cabo Delgado, Moçambique, realizada no âmbito do curso de Cooperação Internacional e a Fundação Habitáfrica.

Architect from the University of Beira Interior, held its first international stage ( IAESTE ) in Brazil in 2008. She completed the course with merit scholarships in the 1st and 2nd cycles of studies in 2007 and 2009, after a year of Erasmus in ETSAG - UAH, Madrid. Also in 2009 went to Budapest to work as an intern architect in a partnership between Consulgal Hungaria and Hochtief, in the project of refurbishment and extension of the Budapest airport. In late 2010 he moved to Porto where she began the academic year PhD in Architecture from FAUP. In 2012 and 2013 was part of a research grant and a scholarship FCT held a postgraduate degree in International Cooperation in ETSAM - UPM. Yet in 2013 he was granted a patent by the INPI with the Sustainable inflated emergency shelter project, initiated in Master. Since October 2013 she is a researcher scholarship in CCRE - FAUP, which integrates the editorial project SCOPIO as Editorial Assistant. With several awards and published articles, is now working voluntarily with non-governmental organizations in developing countries, highlighting the project in 2013 the Urban Structure Plan (PEU), for the Municipality of Mueda in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique, held in within the course of International Cooperation and the Habitáfrica Foundation.
