Doutorando em Arquitectura na FAUP desenvolve investigação sobre Organização do Território e Património Arquitectónico na área da Reserva da Biosfera Transfronteiriça Gerês/Xurés, com orientação dos Professores Pedro Alarcão e João Carlos Garcia, tendo sido Bolseiro da FCT.
Investigador Integrado no CEAU - Centro de Estudos de Arquitectura e Urbanismo da FAUP (Grupo PACT - Património da Arquitectura da Cidade e do Território) e membro da equipa da Cátedra UNESCO "Património, Cidades e Paisagens. Gestão Sustentável, Conservação, Planeamento e Projecto”.
Mestre em Arquitectura com a Dissertação "Construção do Território e Arquitectura na Serra da Peneda” (FAUP, 2011) - Menção Honrosa no I Prémio Ibérico de Investigação em Arquitectura Tradicional e publicado em 2013.
Diploma em Estudos Avançados do Património Arquitectónico (FAUP, 2013).
Frequentou o Cantabria Traditional Architecture Summer School (2019), Habitar o Campo en Galicia (2016), As Paisaxes Culturais na Montaña Galega (2017), InovPed Património e Paisagem. Gestão, Análise, Projecto (FAUP/FLUP 2018).
É autor de trabalhos e artigos publicados, e comunicações, versando a temática da relação entre a paisagem, a arquitectura e os aspectos construtivos tradicionais, nomeadamente nas regiões do Gerês/Xurés e do Vale do Tua. Consultor Científico e Autor do texto do Documentário "Das Arquitecturas Tradicionais no Alto-Minho" (AO Norte).
Foi Membro do Conselho Pedagógico da FAUP (2018-2019) e do Comité Executivo do Colóquio Internacional de Arquitectura Popular (Arcos de Valdevez, 2013). É Membro do Conselho Científico do IPH (Instituto Padre Himalaya, Associação para o Eco-Desenvolvimento), da Comissão de Co-Gestão do Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês e integra o Grupo Horrea que desenvolve o processo para a Classificação dos Celeiros Elevados como Património da Humanidade.
Arquitecto Membro nº21185 da Ordem dos Arquitectos, com trabalhos maioritariamente de intervenção e reabilitação em edifícios de Arquitectura Tradicional, e em contexto de Património Classificado, nomeadamente a Reabilitação do Mosteiro de São João de Cabanas (Afife, Viana do Castelo) e o Projecto de Salvaguarda do Núcleo Arqueológico do Salto do Boi/Cardina (Vila Nova de Foz Côa).
PhD candidate at FAUP, received a grant from FCT and develops research on the Organization of Territory and Architectural Heritage in the Gerês/Xurés Transfrontier Biosphere Reserve region, with the guidance of Professors Pedro Alarcão and João Carlos Garcia.
Researcher at CEAU - Center for Architecture and Urbanism Studies at FAUP (PACT Group - Heritage of City and Territory Architecture) and member of the UNESCO Chair "Heritage, Cities and Landscapes. Sustainable Management, Conservation, Planning and Project".
Master in Architecture with the Dissertation "Construction of the Territory and Architecture in Serra da Peneda" (FAUP, 2011) - Honorable Mention in the I Iberian Prize for Research in Traditional Architecture and published in 2013.

He is the author of several works, published articles and communications on topics related to the relationship between landscapes, architecture and traditional constructions, namely in the regions of Gerês / Xurés and Vale do Tua. Scientific Consultant and Author of the text of the Documentary "Das Arquitecturas Tradicionais no Alto-Minho" (AO Norte).
He was a Member of the Pedagogical Council of FAUP (2018-2019) and of the Executive Committee of the International Colloquium of Popular Architecture (Arcos de Valdevez, 2013). He is a member of the Scientific Council of the IPH (Instituto Padre Himalaya, Association for Eco-Development), of the Co-Management Commission of the Peneda-Gerês National Park and is part of the Horrea Group that develops the process for the Classification of Elevated Granaries as World Heritage Humanity.
Architect Member nº21185 of the Portuguese Association of Architects (OA), with work mainly involving intervention and rehabilitation in buildings of Traditional Architecture, and in the context of Classified Heritage, namely the Rehabilitation of the Monastery of São João de Cabanas (Afife, Viana do Castelo) and the Safeguard Project of the Archaeological Nucleus of Salto do Boi/Cardina (Vila Nova de Foz Côa).
