Maximino Barreto Frota Júnior (Fortaleza-CE Brasil, 1971), arquitecto graduado pela Universidade Federal do Ceará(Brasil, 1994). Foi estagiário internacional pela IAESTE no gabinete SVP Architectuur & Stedenbouw (Países Baixos, 1995). Estudante de língua e cultura italianas na escola Lorenzo de Medici (Florença, Itália, 1996). Foi secretário executivo do departamento Ceará do IAB – Instituto dos Arquitetos do Brasil (1997). Desde 1998 tem desenvolvido projectos de arquitectura de escalas e temas variados no gabinete Projeto Brasil Arquitetura em Fortaleza, e desde janeiro de 2019 no gabinete MI Projectos, Porto, sempre em sociedade com a arquitecta Itatiene Bahia Garcia. Tem MBA em Construção Sustentável pela UNIP (Brasil, 2011). Mestre no PPGAU+D da Universidade Federal do Ceará (Brasil, 2017) com a dissertação "A velha e a nova Jaguaribara-Ce: Projeto, Patrimônio e Memória". Doutorando em Arquitectura na Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto - FAUP (Portugal, 2019) tem Projecto de Tese com o tema "Projecto de Brasil: José Liberal de Castro e as Lutas Modernas da Arquitectura no Ceará". Foi professor substituto na Universidade de Fortaleza, e professor adjunto 1 no Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro, ambos em Fortaleza.

Maximino Barreto Frota Júnior (Fortaleza-CE Brazil, 1971) Architect graduated at the Federal University of Ceará (Brazil, 1994). He was an international trainee through IAESTE at SVP Architectuur & Stedenbouw (Netherlands, 1995). Studied Italian language and culture at the Lorenzo de Medici School (Florence, Italy, 1996). He was executive secretary of the Ceará department of the IAB – Instituto dos Arquitetos do Brasil (1997). Since 1998 he has been developing architectural projects of different scales and themes at the atelier Projeto Brasil Arquitetura in Fortaleza, and since January 2019 at the atelier MI Projectos in Porto, always in partnership with the architect Itatiene Bahia Garcia. He has an MBA in Sustainable Construction from UNIP (Brazil, 2011). Master at PPGAU+D of the Federal University of Ceará (Brazil, 2017) with the dissertation "The old and the new Jaguaribara-Ce: Project, Heritage and Memory". PhD student in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto - FAUP (Portugal, 2019) has a Thesis Project with the theme "Brazil Project: José Liberal de Castro and the Modern Struggles of Architecture in Ceará". He was a substitute professor at Unifor-University of Fortaleza, and adjunct professor 1 at the Centro Universitário 7 de Setembro, both in Fortaleza.
