Ricardo Santos (Andorra, 1982). Arquitecto pela Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa em 2005. Conclui o curso de mestrado em Estudos do Espaço e do Habitar em Arquitectura na Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa em 2008. Conclui o Programa de Doutoramento em Arquitectura: Teoria, Projecto, História na Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto em 2009. Concluí a tese de doutoramento com o título “Arquitectura Portuguesa no tempo longo. Princípios de desenho e forma em igrejas de três naves” em 2013 e prepara actualmente as Provas de Doutoramento. Bolseiro da Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia entre 2010 e 2013. Membro integrado do Centro de Estudos de Arquitectura e Urbanismo da FAUP, desde 2012. Membro da equipa do Projecto de Investigação “Ruptura Silenciosa. Intersecções entre a arquitectura e o cinema. Portugal 1960-74”, entre 2012 e 2013, no âmbito do qual realizou a curta-metragem “Mercado”, sobre o Mercado de Vila da Feira, do Arq. Fernando Távora, em co-autoria com o Arq. Carlos Machado. É actualmente Vogal do Conselho Directivo da Secção Regional Sul da Ordem dos Arquitectos, membro eleito para o triénio 2014 a 2016, e responsável pelas áreas da Formação e da Biblioteca. Desde de 2010 tem participado em diversas publicações e apresentado o seu trabalho como arquitecto e investigador em colóquios e conferências sobre Arquitectura Portuguesa, História Medieval, História da Construção, entre outros.

Integrated Center for the Study of Architecture and Urbanism of FAUP , member since 2012 . Member of the Research Project “Silent Rupture. Intersections between architecture and film. Portugal, 1960-1974”, between 2012 and 2013 , under which directed the short film" Market " on the Vila da Feira market, co-authored with architect Carlos Machado. Member of the Board of the South Regional Chamber of Architects, a member elected for the term 2014-2016, and responsible for the areas of Training and Library. Since 2010 he has participated in several publications and presented his work as an architect and researcher in discussions and conferences on Portuguese Architecture, Medieval History, History of Construction, among others.
